SEBI-Livestock has launched a prototype evidence synthesis dashboard that consolidates recent literature on cattle reproductive performance across nine sub-Saharan African countries.

The Livestock Disease Evidence Consultation was designed to provide an opportunity to gather input from the international expert community on important data needs, gaps, and sources, to further strengthen and refine the evidence synthesis methods used to build this evidence base. 

Groundbreaking consultation brings together 130 experts from 33 countries to strengthen livestock health evidence synthesis.

Bayley Martin-Towers, a student of the Biomedical Sciences degree programme, recently undertook an undergraduate biomedical sciences project focused on improving understanding of anthelmintic resistance in farmed ruminants.

Our colleagues Julie Koehler, Katherine Dirsmith, and Fiona Allan recently took part in the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) Socioeconomic Working Group meeting, hosted at the Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) campus in Nairobi.
