Katie Dirsmith

Dr. Katie Dirsmith is a Researcher working with the SEBI-Livestock team to develop models to support livestock decisions. She is a veterinarian with experience in the design, implementation, and data analysis involved in research studies in livestock and wildlife. She has practiced veterinary medicine on smallholder farms in Puerto Rico, working with producers to promote herd health. Katie is interested in collaborating with others to provide innovative data solutions to challenges faced by smallholder producers in areas with limited resources. Katie holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University.
