Clare Manning

Clare contributes technical and analytical expertise to the SEBI-Livestock team, supporting the processing and analysis of project data. She has an interdisciplinary background spanning computing, mathematics, and the life sciences, and is interested in using data to support research and evidence-based decision-making. Her previous research includes computational work in biomedical science, including modelling brain tumour growth, parallelising DNA sequencing workflows, and evaluating potential drug candidates using simulation-based approaches. Clare holds an MSc in High-Performance Computing from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry from the Open University, along with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Applied Biological Sciences, and Global Health from Arizona State University. Her technical experience includes programming and data analysis using Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, C/C++,  and Java.
